Who we work with
CITB works with construction employers, training providers, and Government to ensure that our policies are aligned to national and local policy across the UK.
CITB maintains relationships across the entire construction skills landscape.
Our most important contacts are construction employers. They fund us through the CITB Levy, and in return they receive products, services and support to help them boost construction skills. We work with a range of employers, from large employers such as Balfour Beatty, Kier and Wates to small and medium employers such as Chestnut Homes Ltd in England, Calmax Construction Ltd in Scotland and Albion Workplace Solutions in Wales. Search the CITB funded project directory to see some of the organisations that we provide funding to.
CITB supports over 75 training groups across England, Scotland and Wales. These groups allow local construction employers to join up and benefit from discounted training, networking and participating in projects that promote construction as an attractive and viable career.
We also engage with training providers to ensure access to high-quality training across the UK.
Working with employers, CITB have developed a range of services for Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and local authorities to support the achievement of goals for economic development and growth plans
We maintain a close relationship with local government, government departments across Whitehall, and the devolved administrations. This helps to ensure that CITB’s priorities and aligned to national and local policy across the UK.
You can contact us if you are interested in getting more detail about a partnership(s) that CITB has.
